Epic Revenue Cycle Systems Manager

Location:  New York City / Manhattan

Organization:  Acute Care Hospital

Overview: World-class acute care hospital, closely affiliated wtih the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital System, is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage the organization’s Epic Revenue Cycle implementation. As a key member of the Information Technology Department, the Epic Revenue Cycle Systems Manager will attain specialized knowledge of enterprise Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and serve as a vital liaison between the hospital's IT department, hospital departments, physician’s offices and Epic representatives.

**This position requires the flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights & weekends during major implementation and support efforts**


•Serve on the IT management team for the implementation and maintenance of Resolute Professional Billing, Resolute Hospital Billing, Claims, Prelude/ADT and Cadence Scheduling

•Supervise Hospital Epic Revenue Cycle team members and provide administrative oversight including recruitment and performance management

•Lead, assign and monitor work for the Epic project team and guide and train team members

•Assist the Revenue Cycle Systems Director and Epic leadership in managing the scope, cost, schedule, quality and success of the broader Epic project

•Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Systems Director to develop and maintain work plans and status reporting for Epic integration projects

•Provide oversight of on-site support activities during go-lives and system upgrades

•Lead and participate in the development, review and delivery of all project deliverables, including:  ensuring functionality in new releases, managing test scripts, resolving implementation issues and monitoring quality of interfaces

•Collaborate with other application leads and project managers to ensure processes and other technical solutions are effectively integrated

•Establish and maintain open lines of communication among the project teams and users; work collaboratively with operations to prioritize change requests; ensure collaboration with training teams

•Assist with all Quality Assurance processes and participate in disaster recovery measures

Minimum Requirements

•Bachelors required; experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement

•5+ years’ hospital revenue cycle systems experience

•Epic certification in at least one Revenue Cycle application required (Resolute HB, Resolute PB, ADT, Cadence, Prelude, etc.)

•Ability to build, mentor and lead teams in a complex and fast-paced environment

•Significant IT implementation and/or support experience; participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle; strong project management skills

•Superior oral, written and non-verbal communication skills; ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships

Desired Qualifications

•Advanced Degree

•Experience working in a Patient Accounting, Admitting or Physician Office environment

•Project management certification (such as PMP)

•Cross-application integration experience

•Assessment and change management/transformation experience
